/I attended AYF from the beginning (not sure what year – maybe 1974) and I graduated from High School and AYF in 1980. I went to Waterton on the very first trip – possibly 1978 or 1979. I just went the once.
I graduated in 1980 from Loreburn Central High School in Loreburn.
I attended University of Saskatchewan from 1980 -85 and worked as a Dietitian for 4 years then I went back to UofS to Medical School. I was in Medical school from 1989 – 1993 where I graduated as a Medical Doctor and did receive the Gold Medal (as per the request about gold medals ). I specialized in Psychiatry from 1993-1998 and have been in practice since that time. The last 8 years I have been the Department Head for Psychiatry for the College of Medicine and the Saskatoon Health Region and now the Provincial Department Head for Psychiatry. My clinical practice is limited to maternal mental health now as I am primarily involved with administration.
Married Andrew Baetz (from Kingston, ON) in 1990 and have two children – Jeremy (21) and Jocelyn (19). Andrew is a teacher at the Saskatoon Christian School and both kids are in university – Jeremy in Education and Jocelyn wants to be a social worker. We have been actively involved in Erindale Alliance Church since we were married. We have spent many years in rinks and gyms as the kids have been involved in ice sports and many school sports. That is behind us now and Andrew and I like to travel and golf and try to lead active lifestyles in between work and church.
